June 15, 2026 Folk Art

Well, they say there’s no time like the present (that’s what “they say”)….so here we go. I started this webpage in 2017, relying on friends and family to help me get it going.  The first template was great, but it took “forever” to implement and update.  Like so many things, we all over-valued our input without much progress being made once the sturdy bones of the links were in place.  So, today I finally thought, “I’m just going to do this!”   The good news is that over the last nine years the Word Press interface on GoDaddy has become extremely user-friendly.  And well, since I’m a user, it seems really friendly.  So, I’ll try my hand blogging (until I lose interest), even though the height of blogging took place between 2005 and 2012.  AI says that era, is often called the “Golden Age of Blogging.”   Currently mainstream media hubs (not really sure what AI means by that….but I’ll just go with it) fill the niche that blogs and online diaries used to occupy.  My brother says that once a technology becomes obsolete, it then becomes folk art.  So, I’m just going to think of my obsolete-before-I-began-blog as folk art.  If you read this far, my hypothesis is that you are either a dear friend, someone that likes looking into the thoughts of others, or someone that enjoys folk art.  Whyever you are here, welcome!  I hope I can entertain you and lift your spirits, because we all deserve to have our spirits lifted.
